Pricing

Prices may vary depending on the number of animals that you have and the number of visits required. The price may go down if we are to care for all the animals in one visit.

All food for the times of our visits must be provided for us. We will ask about their likes and dislikes so we know how to treat them in your absence. They will all get plenty of love and attention from us. Taking special care to meet their needs.

All visits of multiple animals will start at £10 a day depending on the number of animals that you have. In special circumstances rates may be reduced.

Some visits start at just £7 per visit.

Dogs and puppies
We can walk them up to 6pm but will let them out in the garden up until late before their bedtime. We will only walk with the same family of dogs and cannot walk bitches in heat. We do not let dogs off the leads but do have extendable leads. We provide fresh water, feed their usual food, let into the garden, and administer medications. Clean soiled areas including the garden and accidents in the house. Assist with toilet training and encourage sociable behaviour. We keep puppies company during the day. If necessary we will brush and cut nails if any dogs get messy.

Walking
Walks last from 20 minutes with older and disabled dogs, to 45 minutes.

For an out of hours walk please call and we will see if we can accommodate you. This will always be at a rate of £18.

Dog care while on holiday or on short breaks.
Each day is £10 for one visit. The visit includes changing food and water, medicating, letting into the garden etc. Cleaning areas and general tidying of the house. Additional visits will be at a rate of £6. We can let them out around 4 - 5 times a day to go the toilet and we will also play with them to give them exercise. In this case a discount will be given. A maximum charge of £30 a day for this service.

Puppy sitting
We will come in and change their puppy pads, play with them and help with the toilet training giving loads of praise. They will learn to socialize and be encouraged to toilet in the correct places. We will sit with them for 30 minutes in the visit during the day or the evening if you’re going out.

Cats and kittens
In our visit we will change their food and water, administer medications, clean litter trays and get rid of the little presents they tend to bring home disinfecting the areas where they were left. We can play with them and encourage them to eat in your absence. If they get messy we will give them a brush also. Each visit in the day is priced at £8 a visit. Any additional visit in the day is at a cost of £6.

Horses
During our visit we will muck out stables, feed and refresh water. We can let them in and out of stables, groom and put on rugs where necessary. Sorry but we cannot ride them.

Each visit will take around 30 – 40 minutes to take special care that all necessary attention to detail is taken.

The first visit in the day will be at a cost of £12 additional visits later in the evening to put them to bed and give a second feed will be at a cost of £8.

There are many other animals that we can care for. Giving all medication, fresh food, water and cleaning out of their homes.

All of the following animals are charged at £7 per visit per day. On the days that they need cleaning out there will be an extra cost of £3. Large aviaries - we charge £7 per visit per day but on the days they need cleaning out this will cost an extra £7 on that day.

All small animals - hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils, mice, rats, degus, ferrets.
Fish: feeding and giving a 60% water change, checking PH levels, temperatures and cleaning the sides of the tank.
Birds: Cleaning out of cages and aviaries providing cuttlefish and seeds.
Chickens and Ducks: We can change their baths feed and clean soiled areas. Checking that all areas are secured from predators.

Reptiles, Amphibians and exotics.
This includes snakes, lizards, tarantulas, scorpions, stick insects, and all invertebrates. We have no phobias in this house and even have pet cockroaches. Being owners of these animals this is a specialist area that we pride ourselves on and it’s what makes us unique.

As Jungle Jo I am able to handle aggressive snakes, so please don’t be afraid to contact us even if your animals play up occasionally. With aggressive snakes I am also able to do desensitized handling so they get used to it. I can also cut the nails of the lizards on request.

We can give the correct live-food feeds and also defrost mice and frozen foods for snakes and lizards. Check and adjust temperatures, create humidity, changing bulbs if they blow while you’re away. Also clean out, provide fresh water and de-chlorinate where needed. We will dust the foods with vitamin and calcium powders if needed.
